Overview

MNS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is a modular cabinet type that is factory assembled (FBA) using standard modules. This series of low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for power plants, substations, petrochemicals, metallurgy and steel rolling, transportation energy, light industry and textiles, and other factories and mines, residential areas, high-rise buildings and other places. It is used as a power distribution equipment for power system with AC 50-60HZ and rated working voltage AC 660V and below for power conversion, distribution and control.

Use environment
• Ambient air: temperature not higher than +40°C, not lower than -5°C, and its average temperature within 24 hours is not higher than +35°C.
• Atmospheric conditions: clean air, relative humidity does not exceed 50% at the highest temperature of +40°C, and higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, such as 90% at +20°C, but temperature changes should be taken into account, and condensation may occur occasionally.
• Altitude does not exceed 2000m.
• If the above conditions of use cannot be met, the user and the manufacturer should negotiate to resolve it.
• When this device is used on offshore oil drilling platforms and nuclear power plants, a technical agreement should be signed separately.

Switchgear type
Power center cabinet (PC)
Adopts fixed installation drawer switch, various high breaking capacity from 630A to 6300A, advanced structure and intelligent circuit breakers.
Power factor automatic compensation cabinet (MDS-J), motor control center cabinet (MCC)
• Drawer type
Assembled by large and small drawers, the main switch of each circuit adopts high breaking molded case circuit breaker or rotary load switch with fuse.
• Fixed type
The functional unit of MCC cabinet adopts the method of fixed installation plug-in molded case circuit breaker, which has obvious breakpoints and enhanced safety, and has the advantage of good reliability of fixed cabinet. The functional units are separated by steel plates and are independent of each other. The unit structure is compact, the capacity is large, and the function is strong. Various types of functional units can be assembled in a single cabinet or mixed. The effective height is 72E, and they can be freely combined according to the scheme.

 

Drawer type
There are five standard sizes, all based on 8E (200mm) height:
• 8E/4: 4 drawer units are assembled in 8E height space.
• 8E/2: 2 drawer units are assembled in 8E height space.
• 8E: 1 drawer unit is assembled in 8E height space.
• 16E: 1 drawer unit is assembled in 16E (400 mm) height space.
• 24E: 1 drawer unit is assembled in 24E (600 mm) height space.
The five drawer units can be assembled in a cabinet as a single assembly or as a mixed assembly. The maximum number of fixed units that can be accommodated in a single assembly in a cabinet is shown in the table.

Fixed type
Standard sizes are based on 8E (200 mm) height:
• 8E: 1 unit is assembled in 8E height space.
• 16E: 1 unit is assembled in 16E (400 mm) height space.
• 24E: 1 unit is assembled in 24E (600 mm) height space.
• 8E/2: 2 units are assembled in 8E height space.
• 8E/4: 4 units are assembled in 8E height space.
Each unit can be assembled individually in one cabinet, or mixed and assembled in one cabinet. Maximum number of drawer units. See table

Cabinet structure
The basic structure of the switch cabinet is assembled from C-shaped profiles. The C-shaped profile is made of steel plates with E=25 mm as the module installation hole, and is assembled with self-tapping screws and 8.8-grade bolts. All cabinet frames and inner partitions are galvanized. The surrounding door panels and side panels are powder-coated, and the effective installation height is 72E. The basic structure of the cabinet is shown in Figure 2. The basic dimensions of the cabinet are shown in Table 3.
